Rt. Hon. Emeka Stanley remains the best candidate for Abia PDP chairmanship group insist

As much commendation began to thrill the office of the People’s Democratic party, Abia State Chapter, but particularly the Architect Benson Ezem’s led Congress committee for been in charge of one of the best ever organised and a well harmonized Ward Congress, L.G.A Congress and in waiting, the State party congress which will further produce the state party Chairman of the number one party in the State and other executive members.

And in line with the zonning arrangement, by the Congress Committee, which has ceded the state party Chairman to Ukwa axis of the State, a popular group known as UKWA CONSULTATIVE FORUM which is the apex decision making body in Ukwa East and West, have urged the state caucus of the People’s Democratic party to further the success of the congress by choosing a Party man who is committed, dedicated, determined and also disciplined in his quest to render services to the party.

The group insist that the candidature of Chief EMEKA STANLEY (Oke Oji Abia) remains apt, he is the only man who will be willing at all times to render services as the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in the State without any fear or favour and also the only one who will further Deepen the party process of returning power to the people which has presently been institutionalized by the Leader of the Party in the state, in the person of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D

The group maintained that a man whom from his Political cradle to his present growth has recorded so much achievements ranging from been the chairman of the defunct NNC in Ukwa LGA to the Secretary of NRC in Ukwa LGA , all in then Old Imo State.

He was Once Chairman and House of Assembly contestant UPN Ukwa LGA of Old Imo State.

He saw to the organization of PDP for Ukwa East alongside Chief Lambert Nmecha and later a member of PPA organisational set up in Abia State. In 2008, he formed the PPA in Anambra State.

He was one of those who worked for and ensured the reintegration from PPA to PDP under the leadership of His Excellency Chief Sir (Dr)T.A Orji and was in the forefront of the organization of PDP in Abia State precisely Ukwa East.

For over 15years, he has been the campaign arrowhead for PDP in Ukwa East and led party election victories alongside other Stakeholders.

He has held elected and appointed political positions in the party at the three levels of government, ranging from Special Adviser, Vice Chairman LG, T.C Chairman Ukwa East L.G.A , Member Abia House of Assembly and rose to Deputy Speaker Abia House of Assembly, Commissioner for Works, Member Infrastructure Fund Board, Member Federal House of Representatives, Commissioner ASOPADEC, Chairman ASOPADEC and Anchor Mobilizer Enyinba Economic City Project amongst others.

The group has further urged the Caucus of People’s Democratic Party, the Party Stakeholders from Ukwa and beyond, all party faithfuls and members of the public to disregard the rumours making rounds that a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly or any other person from Ukwa East Local Government Area has been endorsed by the the Political Stakeholders of Ukwa, saying that their was no election anywhere and not even in any of the Leaders house.

The group then concluded by saying that if the decision of who becomes the Chairman of the People’s Democratic party in the State must come to play, that it must be within the purview of the Leader of the Party; Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D and all the Members of Abia State PDP Caucus.

The group then call on Architect Benson Ezem’s led Congress Committee to choose Chief Emeka Stanley ( Oke Oji Abia) as the best tried and trusted candidate who will at all times define the integrity of the People’s Democratic Party in Abia State.
