ABIA: Protest Rocks Uturu Over High Rate Of Kidnapping, Killings |WATCH VIDEO
The increasing rate of kidnapping and killings along Okigwe – Uturu, Isuikwuato road has spored indigenes of Uturu community to embark on a protest.
The protest which hailed along Uturu road close to Marist Secondary School, saw protesters blocking the road and demanding that Imo state and Abia state governments take action immediately to cub the killing and kidnapping of Uturu indigenes.

One of the protesters who spoke to a reporter revealed that Uturu indigenes kidnap is on the rise and that it is affecting the economy of the people at home, he called for immediate actions.
The road has become a source of fear for travelers even though more than six security checkpoints are along the same road.
