The protest which started early hours of today, started from the Abia State office of the PDP along Finbarrs roads, crossed Ikot Ekpene road, got to Aba road all in Umuahia, capital of Abia State.

Participants of the protest included PDP local government chairmen in Abia State and their executives,  PDP state executives and numerous other PDP supporters and leaders.

Based on the information made available to the media by PDP state chairman, Johnson Onuigbo, he stated that the protest is meant to register their disagreement with the judgement of the Supreme Court as regards the governorship tussle in Imo state and a demand for the supreme court to reverse itself.

Remember, AFNews had reported days ago that the supreme court led by Chief Justice Tanko Muhammad unanimously declared Senator Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of the March 19 governorship election.
