The President, Muhammdu Buhari has submitted the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP) to the Senate for consideration and approval.
According to a letter presented to the House and read by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan on the Assembly floor on Tuesday, July 13, the early submission of the MTEF/FSP was to give the lawmakers adequate time to consider and pass the 2022 budget in December to meet up with the January-December budget circle.
Members of the National House of Assembly are expected to deliberate on the submission and give possible approval.
