One Pastor Chigozie Nosiri has narrated how a member of his Church escaped death in the hand of some Nigerian army in Oyigbo, Rivers State.
According to Nosiri in a post on his Facebook page a few hours ago, the church member whose photos he shared was beaten by soldiers parading the Oyigbo area to enforce order in the state following the imposed curfew by Governor Nyesom Wike.
The clergyman noted that the soldiers had mistaken the young man for someone else and started pouncing on him, fortunately, another soldier intervened after he noticed he was mistaken for someone else.
However, the soldiers had already given him bruises and whip marks on his face and all over his body before he was rescued.
Sharing details of the incident, Pastor Nosiri wrote: “GOD OF ROYAL KINGS HAS DONE IT AGAIN.”
“My member could have been shout by the army in oyigbo. But God saved him, after beaten by army about to shout him the commander said stop. we mistake him for someone ealse. Pls let us pray for his recovery. On there street to buy something, oyigbo army took him.”
