In the wake of the gruesome attack on Church worshippers in Owo by terrorists, former Federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani has cautioned against molesting Northerners living in the South.

Unknown armed men stormed St Francis Catholic church in the town of Owo, Ondo State on Sunday, June 5 leaving scores dead in the horrific attack.

The former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani gave the warning on Monday via his Twitter handle, where he said the intent of the terrorists was to trigger vendetta and national strife.

He wrote;

”The intent of those terrorists is to trigger vendetta & national strife. They spare neither worshipers In the mosques nor in the churches.
The North is a daily victim of their violence. Northerners living in the south should not be molested because of the evil acts of these terrorists,”

The human rights activist cum author had earlier condemned the attack on the Ondo Catholic Church, describing it as horrible, barbaric and condemnable act of terror.
