Osimhen to choose between Man Utd, Al Hilal, Galatasaray, as Juventus end interest
Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has lost one suitor, but still has several to choose from ahead of the summer transfer window
Victor Osimhen’s summer transfer saga is heating up, and it looks like Juventus are already officially out of the race.
With the Serie A giants backing off, the Nigerian striker now weighs up offers from Manchester United, Galatasaray, and Saudi side Al Hilal.
Juventus walk away as Giuntoli heads for the exit
For months, Juventus were hopeful of pulling off a move for Osimhen, even though they would have had to pay than his €75 million release clause, which does not apply to Serie A clubs.
Their interest was driven by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, the same man who brought Osimhen to Napoli. But with Giuntoli now expected to leave the club, Juve’s ambition has fizzled out.
Napoli, firm in their stance of refusing to sell to a direct rival, have also shown no interest in entertaining negotiations.
Without Giuntoli’s influence and with no viable way to trigger the release clause, the Bianconeri are moving on, leaving Osimhen to explore new pastures.
Osimhen set for big choice this summer
Now that Juventus are out of reckoning, Osimhen’s potential future path leads in three very different directions.
Manchester United remain keen and can meet the release clause, offering Premier League exposure and a major platform in world football.
Galatasaray, where Osimhen impressed on loan, are hopeful of a permanent return and can offer Champions League football.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal are ready to table a massive financial package that could make the Nigerian one of the best-paid players in the world.
As the summer window approaches, Osimhen must decide between a legacy in Europe or a golden payday in the Middle East.
