ONYEMA WACHUKWU: ISIALANGWA NORTH WILL BE UNGOVERNABLE IF HIS NAME IS REMOVED – UBA

The controversy trailing the nomination of Onyema Wachukwu, the youngest Abia State Commissioner nominee is still brewing, as a prominent youth leader in Isialangwa North has warned against tempering with the nomination to avoid breakdown of law and order in Isialangwa North Local government Area.

While speaking with Abia Facts News, Uba Chiemezuo Anyanwu popularly known as Governor Agunaechemba, insisted that Onyema Wachukwu is fully qualified for the position and that he also played active role during the last election that reelected Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. He revealed that him and Onyema toured all the wards in Isialangwa North Local government Area in their bid to make sure that Ikpeazu’s election was not tempered with.

He warned that the youths will resist any attempt by anyone in Isialangwa North to change the name of Onyema wachukwu, he made it clear that commissionership in Isialangwa North is not anyone’s birthright and so no one should try to intimidate the government to change the name.

Uba Went on to say that the youths are very comfortable with the nomination and that Isialangwa North will be rendered ungovernable if the Onyema wachukwu’s name is removed by any means.

“Onyema is on ground, Onyema was with me during the election, he has all it takes to do the job perfectly well. So those people claiming he is not on ground are lying and those planning to protest are on their own because we will resist any attempt to remove Onyema’s name. in fact, let me state it here, isialangwa north will be ungovernable if his name is removed’ he stated.

Finally, the youth leader congratulated Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the nomination of Onyema Wachukwu, he described it as the best thing to happen in Isialangwa north. He also congratulated the commissioner nominee and assured him that the youths of Isialangwa North are solidly behind him.
