Ohuabunwa thanks God over Gov Ikpeazu’s quick recovery from COVID -19

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has expressed his gratitude to God over the quick recovery of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu from the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

 

Ohuabunwa who described the governor’s quick recovery as an act of God said the miracle had again renewed the confidence of Abians that God does not forsake those who trust in Him.

 

He noted that medications could cure but healing comes from God, hence the outpouring of heartfelt gratitude of Abians unto God for the governor’s miraculous healing.

The former Speaker, ECOWAS Parliament, in a press statement said he was so elated with the news of the governor’s full recovery and resumption of duty after weeks of isolation for covid-19 treatment.

 

He joined men of goodwill to appreciate God and celebrate the governor’s recovery and return to duty.

 

Ohuabunwa therefore, prayed God to grant the governor more strength and vigour to steer the ship of statemanship as he resumes duty, while appreciating all those especially the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, who stood in the gap while the governor was away.

Senator Ohuabunwa who also prayed for the speedy recovery of all Abians currently undergoing treatment over covid-19 infection, expressed faith that they shall all live to tell the story.

 

He urged Abians to remain faithful to God and put their trust in Him no matter the challenges, adding that the covid -19 pandemic will soon be history.

Ohuabunwa however urged Abians not to relent in observing all the necessary safety protocols including social distancing, regular washing of hands with running tap, use of hand sanitizers and wearing of face masks when outside their homes until the global pandemic is finally declared over.

 

He also encouraged all residents of the state to obey government regulations on coronavirus in order to stem the spread of the pandemic and stay safe.
