Ogun Landlord In Tr0uble For Flogging Tenant’s Teenage Twins | DETAILS

A 65-year-old landlord, Samuel Adekoya, have been arrested by Operatives of Ogun State Police Command, for tying and flogging his tenant’s 11-Year-old twins.

Mr. Adekoya was said to have tied the boys; Taiwo Enoch Olishe and Kehinde Emmanuel Olishe, with rope, dragged them on the floor and flogged them with a cable wire for excreting in the compound.

The landlord was arrested on Friday, following a complaint lodged at the police station by the twins mother, Gbenisola Olishe, at Ijebu Ode area command.

According to their mother, she was on a business trip when she received a call on what was happening.

She said a good Samaritan called her informing her that her boys were tied with rope like goats for excreting in the compound after the landlord had warned that the compound should be kept clean.

The twins sustained varying degrees of body injuries as a result of the physical assault.

Confirming the incident in a statement, the Ogun State police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said upon the complaint, the Police Area Commander in Ijebu-Ode, ACP Adeniyi Omosanyin, detailed some of his men to the scene where they met the twins tied with rope on both hands and legs.

Oyeyemi added that the policemen took the victims who sustained injuries to Ijebu Ode General Hospital for medical attention.

According to the spokesperson, the landlord upon interrogation said he was told the twins excreted in the compound but he could not show the police officers where they excreted as according to him, they had washed it off before the officers’ arrival.

The landlord will be taken to court for possible prosecution after police investigations.
