He stressed on the absence of internal democracy in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

“There was no democracy in the party, no primaries was conducted. 22nd of May was supposed to be the day of the primary elections across the state, Some of us were prepared, some others had already withdrawn because of the issue with Ad-hoc. However, on the day of election, no electoral officers were sent by the PDP to Ohuhu Memorial Grammar School, the designated place for the supposed Primary elections”.

“For me I left because, you cannot participate in what did not hold. Yes, I couldn’t participate in what did not hold. Election wasn’t conducted, didn’t hold and hence my inability to participate.

“I am a democrat from a democratic place like the Ohuhu clan, I didn’t want to jeopardize my self or hear my name being called in places that it isn’t supposed to, for that reason I left and I am so happy about that.” he concluded.
