Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the state ministry of works to ensure the immediate reconstruction of Eze I. O. Kanu road in Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia North LGA.
This followed representations made to the Governor by the President General of Isiama Afaraukwu Development Union, Chief Ikechukwu Ndubueze, who appealed on behalf of the community for reconstruction of the road leading to the home of Late Eze Sir I. O. Kanu, Egwukwu II of Afaraukwu and his wife, Ugoeze Sally Kanu, both of who will be laid to rest on the 14th of February, 2020.
