Nnamdi Kanu Does Not Have A Case In Court Today – Lawyer | READ WHY

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lead counsel to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has said that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the group will not be appearing before the court of appeal in Abuja today, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 as he has no case to be heard.

According to Ejiofor, Nnamdi Kanu’s appeal case earlier scheduled for today was brought forward and heard on September 11. Ejiofor said the legal team of Kanu are now waiting for the court’s judgement on the matter.

A statement released by Ejiofor on Monday, read;

IMPORTANT NOTICE/CLARIFICATION.

Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has no court case tomorrow, and as such, shall not be appearing in court tomorrow.

ONYENDU’s Appeal No CA/ABJ/CR/625/2022 BETWEEN NNAMDI KANU VS FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, originally scheduled to be heard tomorrow being the 11th Day of October 2022, was earlier brought forward and accordingly heard on the 13th Day of September 2022, now awaiting Judgement.As such tomorrow’s earlier date scheduled for the hearing of the Appeal at Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has been vacated.

Our people should stop paying undeserved attention to rumors, and mischief makers.

I was compelled to issue this clarification because it has just been brought to my attention that some market leaders in Onitsha have started directing the closure of Markets for tomorrow.

The members of the public should be adequately informed any day our indefatigable Client- ONYENDU Mazi Nnamdi KANU will be appearing in court .
