Nine commissioners dump Fubara in 24-hours [LIST]

The political crisis in Rivers State between Governor Sim Fubara and FCT minister Nyesom Wike took a new dimension on Thursday with the Mass resignation of some cabinet members.

All Facts Newspaper understands that the nine appointees who have so far resigned their positions were nominated by Wike before the minister fell out with Governor Fubara few months ago.

Out of the nine commissioners, five served under Wike’s administration in the same capacity, while Woke was Wike’s Chief of Staff for eight years.

Here is a full list of all Rivers State commissioners who have officially resigned from Fubara’s cabinet since Thursday, December 14:

1.Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor (SAN).

2. Commissioner for Works, Dr Des George-Kelly

3. Commissioner for Special Duties, Emeka Woke.

4. Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Mrs Inime Aguma.

5. Commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu.

6. Commissioner for Education, Prof. Chinedu Mmom.

7. Commissioner for Housing, Dr Gift Worlu.

8. Commissioner for Transport, Dr Jacobson Nbina

9. Commissioner for Environment, Austin Ben-Chioma resigned.
