NIGERIA: How Abia state indigene was murdered in Cotonou

Okezie Ifeanyichukwu Jonathan, reports from Cotonou about the death of a Nigerian who is yet to receive justice even with the constant follow up on the matter.

Details;

As you can see from the attached photos, a Nigerian named Onyebuchi Sunday, 47, from Akaekwo Amamba, Uzuakoli, was murdered on 24/12/2019 by yet to be identified Beninoise.

Our attached letter to the Ambassador copied to the Defence Adviser, Nigeria Embassy, Cotonou, is self-explicit on the matter.

Based on this letter, the Ambassador detailed a Staff of the Embassy to go with the Executive members of Uzuakoli Development Association, Cotonou Branch, to meet with the Police Commissaire {Commissioner} of Segbeya Police Station handling the matter.

The Commissaire confirmed the incident and Uzuakoli Development Association, at the scene on 24/12/2029, identified the deceased as their member. He said even though they have known the culprit still at large, investigation are ongoing and autopsy report being awaited, the matter is pending at the Tribunal {Court}.

They promised to always inform us of developments.
