Full List: NELFUND Begins Student Loan Applications for 36 State Universities | HOW TO APPLY

NELFUND has initiated student loan applications for 36 state-owned tertiary institutions across Nigeria starting July 7, 2024, following successful submission of student data to their verification system.

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the commencement of student loan applications for 36 state-owned tertiary institutions across Nigeria, effective July 7, 2024.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Fund’s management on Sunday via its official X account.According to NELFUND, the affected institutions have successfully submitted their student data to the NELFUND Student Verification System (SVS).

The management urged other state-owned tertiary institutions to promptly submit their complete student data to the NELFUND SVS to ensure their students can benefit from the scheme.

The approved institutions include Adamawa State University, Edo State University, Ekiti State University, and Lagos State University, among others.

Register on the Student Loan Application Platform by clicking the “APPLY NOW” button to get started

Click on the “Request for Student Loan” button and complete the loan application steps and submit.

Step 3

Your application will be reviewed. After successful verification, payments will be made to your institution for institutional charge, while the upkeep loan will be paid to the bank account you have provided in your profile
