Muslim-Muslim Ticket, A Direct Attack On Christians – Ex SGF Babachir Lawal Fumes

A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim ticket for 2023 presidency as a direct attack on Christians.

He said this on Thursday in an interview with Arise TV, monitored by All Facts Newspaper.

Lawal maintained his rejection of the Muslim-Muslim ticket adopted by the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

According to him, he rejected Tinubu and Kashim Shettima ticket because the disadvantages cited by by committee over weighed its advantages.

Lawal said Christians in APC were not consulted, adding that Tinubu now has new friends who are sycophants.

The former SGF stated that he is fighting for justice, warning that if the APC resolves totally to sideline Christians then ‘we will adopt ‘sit-down-look approach”.

He maintained that no candidate willing to rule Nigeria should overlook the dichotomy of religion.

All Facts Newspaper had reported that the formal unveiling of Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate billed for today, has been postponed to further notice.
