Barrister Jackson Agbai Abbah, CEO Dover hotel and a senior corporate lawyer, on Friday, December 31, 2021 held a grand reception to mark his mother’s 80th birthday.
The birthday celebration of Madam Ucha Nma-Nta Nwojo Uriem (MMA Ucha) held at Jackson Agbai Abbah’s country home, Nchiyi, Amaogudu, Abiriba in Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
Speaking to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, Barrister Jackson Agbai described his mother as a lover of God, strong tigress, resilient and disciplined Matriarch who faced each phase of her life squarely without complaining.
“She has refused to be bitter with the world or people around her. She has always been very optimistic about the future and the fact that whatever she is unable to achieve, her children will make up. She has showed contentment at all times”.
The hospitality guru prayed God to continue sustaining his mother and allow the family celebrate her also at 90.
He revealed that a foundation, (MMA Ucha foundation) will kick start from January, 2022 with the sole aim of putting smiles on people’s faces.
Reacting to the effect of coronavirus on the economy, Agbai noted that the most affected are airlines and the hospitality industry.
Asked if he has any political interest in Abia 2023 elections, he said;
“We all have political ambitions. Naturally, if you think you’ve done well in your private life, the other thing to do is to affect people by serving the masses.
If am given the opportunity, if people say we think you can lead, I will oblige.”
He added that he currently does not nurse any political ambition nor interested in any party.
On Abia charter of equity and power rotation, Abbah said;
“Fairness is universal and the reason why you rotate is that you want a certain level of fairness and equilibrium. The reality is that the best is everywhere whether north or South.”
