The Mayor of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Deacon Uwabunkonye Bassey, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, M.B.A, on his recent promotion and re-appointment as Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja and National Assembly Liaison Officer.
In a statement issued on behalf of the government and people of Bende LGA, Hon. Bassey described Chinasa’s elevation as “a well-deserved honour” and “a recognition of his dedication, capacity, and excellence in service to Abia State.”
According to him, Chinasa’s consistency and professionalism have brought pride not only to Bende but also to the entire Abia State, adding that the people are confident he will discharge his new duties with even greater passion and commitment.
“This honour is a true recognition of your commitment, hard work, and excellence in service to our dear State. Your diligence and capacity have continued to make us proud, and we are confident that you will discharge this new responsibility with even greater passion and dedication,” the statement read.
The Bende Mayor also expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Chioma Otti for identifying and rewarding merit, stressing that the Governor’s choice of Chinasa for such a strategic office reflects his commitment to building a progressive and prosperous Abia anchored on competence and accountability.
Hon. Bassey further assured Chinasa of the full support and prayers of the people of Bende as he continues to serve Abia State at higher responsibilities.
