Massive Protest Rock UNIBEN Over Prolonged ASUU Strike | VIDEO/PHOTOS
Students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) on Wednesday, barricaded their school gate protesting the prolonged strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The students who are obviously tired of staying out of the classroom for months also took to the streets to drive home their grievance.
Recall that ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022. Their negotiations with the Federal Government has failed on several occasions with the Union insisting the the FG must adhere to the 2009 agreement it reached with them.
