Mason Greenwood Has Not Returned To Man U- Reports

England journalists in reports have dismissed rumours that Manchester United ace, Mason Greenwood has returned to the club.

Widespread rumours on Twitter had stated the 20-year-old who was suspended by the Premier League side has resumed training at Old Trafford.

In January, the English footballer was arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, making threats to kill and assault.

Authorities clamped down on him after police officers responded to seeing an 18-year-old woman reporting claims of violence and sexual threats on social media.

The forward has not made an appearance for the side since their 1-0 win over West Ham on January 22 after being suspended from playing or training with the club until further notice.

However, weeks after his arrest and suspension, Greenwood’s name became a raging subject on Twitter after rumors went viral claiming that he had returned to training with United.

Reacting, Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail and BBC Sport’s Simon Stone have taken to Twitter to debunk the reports.

Wheeler wrote;

Mason Greenwood isn’t back in training at Man Utd and there has been no change in his situation despite rumours circulating on social media.”

Stone wrote;

“No change to Mason Greenwood situation. Has not returned to training.”

Meanwhile, British newspaper The Sun last week reported Greenwood would likely “discover if he is to face rape charges in a matter of days.”
