The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Sunday announced new redeployments and appointments.

This was confirmed in a statement signed by NNPC’s spokesman, Kennie Obateru.

Obateru said the Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division (COMD), Mr. Adokiye Tombomieye, has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Upstream.

The Managing Director of the Nigerian Gas Marketing Company (NGMC), Mr. Mohammed Abdulkabir Ahmed, has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, following Engr. Farouk Garba Sa’id’s retirement last week.

Also, the Chief Operating Officer, Upstream, Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji, has been redeployed to the Ventures & Business Development Directorate as COO, following the voluntary retirement of Mr. Roland Onoriode Ewubare last week.

Mr Billy Okoye has been redeployed from the NNPC Downstream Company, NNPC Retail Limited, as Managing Director, to replace Mr. Tombomieye as the Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division; while Mrs. Elizabeth Aliyuda, the General Manager, Sales and Marketing NNPC Retail Limited, replaces Mr. Okoye as Managing Director.
