Lawmaker Identifies With Ndi Ojiugwo Abam on their August/Town Hall Meeting

It was a moment of joy for the people of Ndi Ojiugwo Abam community, in Arochukwu LGA, as they welcomed the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, during their August/Town Hall Meeting Celebration in their community.

Addressing the mammoth crowd on Saturday, 21th August, 2021, at Ndi Ojiugwo Abam, the Lawmaker, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, who was full of excitement, explained that he came to identify with the Women on their August Meeting Celebration.

The Lawmaker lauded the Women for their perseverance, commitment and dogged determination in building their homes and the society.

He further stated that he will continue to do things within his reach, to ensure that the horns of the women are exalted due to the critical roles the play.

Hon. Ukoha, used the medium to highlight some of his people oriented programs and developmental strides which cut across the entire constituency and supported them with a cash gift.

Speaking earlier, the President General Women’s Wing of Ndi Ojiugwo Abam Development Union, Mrs. Florence Okoh Isaac, thanked the Lawmaker for finding time out of his tight schedule to attend this year’s August Meeting in their area.

She used the opportunity to solicit for a Health Center in their area to enable their women, especially nursing mothers to have access to health facilities.

Also speaking, the President General Men’s Wing, Mr. Ukwa Ejea, lauded Hon. Ukoha, for his numerous achievements recorded within a short time in office.

He used the occasion to assure the Lawmaker of their support at all times and thanked him for identifying with them also in their Town Hall Meeting.

Lending their voices, the Eze Ogo Ndi Ojiugwo Abam, Chief Sunday Kalu Agwu and Mr. Stephen Nwoke expressed delight on his visit and thanked the Minority Whip for always identifying with the people.
