The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, has felicitated with all Abians in Diaspora on the occasion of Diasporan Day.
In a release signed by his Media Assistant, the Minority Whip, explained that he is happy because the Abians in Diaspora Commission Bill, which he sponsored has been passed by his colleagues and awaiting the Governor’s assent.
He thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, for his interest in Diaspora Affairs and his determination to sign and inaugurate the Diaspora Commission.
He further stated that the benefit of the Bill to Abians, is huge as it will among other things, enable those in Diaspora to contribute towards the overall development of Abia State.
The Lawmaker thanked the Diasporans on their efforts and contributions so far, noting that he looks forward to working closely with them in an effort to make Abia State greater.
