The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, on Saturday August 27th, defied the heavy downpour, to honour Atan Ihechiowa women on their August Meeting Celebration.
Speaking at the occasion the Lawmaker hinted that he has done a lot for people of Ihechiowa which include sinking of a water borehole at Atan Ihechiowa.
He further stated that he has provided financial support to SS3 students from Ihechiowa to enable them register for their 2022 WAEC examination, moving a motion of urgent importance on Uburu Ihechiowa-Arochukwu-Link road which made it possible for Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, to begin work on the road, renovated Obichie Health Centre Ihechiowa to provide necessary primary care to the community, among other interventions.
The Minority Whip stated that he has respect for Atan Ihechiowa women hence his visit to their event.
He promised to always pursue goals and aspirations which will be geared towards making Atan Ihechiowa a place to reckon with and thanked the women for honouring him.
He gave a huge financial support to the women to support their activities.
Earlier, the Atan Ihechiowa women leader, had extolled the good qualities of Hon. Ukoha, and his numerous activities in Arochukwu State Constituency and promised to support him in his political programmes.
