Lamido Sanusi Changes Name, Amid Controversy Trailing Viral Post | SEE NEW NAME

Chief of Staff to the deposed Emir of Kano has noted through a statement on Monday that the former CBN Governor and 14th Emir of Kano State no longer goes by the name Sanusi Lamido Sanusi but now answers “HH Muhammad Sanusi II.”

He said: “Consequently, given the need to set the records straight, we hereby state for the benefit of those unaware that the Khalifa is not officially called Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, but as HH Muhammad Sanusi II.”

He has advised the public to take note of that so that they not misled by any posts bearing the Emir’s former name.

He said this while refuting the claims that his Principal had in a viral post that made the rounds on Social media endorsed the presidential Candidate of the labour Party, Peter Obi while bashing Atiku and Tinubu, presidential Candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressive Congress respectively.
