Promise Uzoma Okoro was born on Monday 15th April 1991 in Alayi, Bende Local Government Area, Abia State.
Promise Uzoma Okoro was not privileged to be among those born with silver spoon, he was born in a poor family and lost his father when he was barely 4 years of Old.
Little Promise Uzoma Okoro did not enjoy fatherhood but was under the tutelage of his God fearing mother Deaconess Oyidiya Okoro who was doing all manner of menial jobs to feed her children.
Promise Uzoma Okoro entrance into the blogosphere in 2013 followed years of media activism on Facebook which paved way for him to get thousands of followers who depend on him for information.
In 2014, Promise Uzoma Okoro launched PUO REPORTS, a news portal which till date remains a source of information to the general public.

Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro sojourn to active politics followed his appointment as a Senior Special Assistant on Media by the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu in February 2019.
The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji few days after his emergence as Speaker appointed Hon Promise Uzoma Okoro as his Special Assistant on Media 2019-2020.
At the last Local Government Area Elections in Abia State, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro was nominated by his party the People’s Democratic party (PDP) as the Deputy Chairmanship Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was subsequently elected and sworn in as the Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area.
Within one year in office, Promise Uzoma Okoro has demonstrated leadership acumen through various means ranging from payment of School Fees, Payment of WAEC fees of Students and embarking on Legacy Projects in his Local Government.
It is on record that Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro has paid WAEC fees for Four Students in Bende Local Government Area, Paid one year School Fees for Four Students.
Just recently, he commenced and completed the construction of an 8 Units of Open Market Stalls in his community, Amaokwelu Amankalu Alayi.
Presently ongoing is an erosion control measure/ construction of culvert for the people of Umuachiki Amaokwelu Alayi among other Projects.
Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro is married and the marriage is blessed with two children for now.
