Amember of the House of Representatives and campaigner of Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Chinyere Igwe, has allegedly been arrested with $500,000 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Igwe, who represents Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, was nabbed on Friday during and search operation along Aba Road.
Spokesperson of Rivers Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the arrest, said: “A statement on it will be released soon”.
