which does not present a section of our people (The Ngwa Nation) in Abia State in the right light.
As the publisher of AFNEWS, i take full responsibility of the publication and i apologize for it.
It is an opinion written under the name THE PUNDIT.
In as such as we want everyone to have a free space to state their opinion, we will not support any opinion that promotes hate.
As a team in AFNEWS, we have consistently rejected opinion piece that are derogatory.
Based on that, we have done the following;
1. Deleted that portion from the write up.
2. Working on improving our system to make sure such does not happen again.
3. The editor that edited that material will be penalized.
