It’s Our Fault That Nigeria Hasn’t Progressed For The Past 60-Years – Tinubu
The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has said that Nigerians are collectively responsible for the country’s failure to make progress for over 60-years of gaining her independence.
Tinubu during a town hall meeting in Calabar, the capital of Cross River state on Tuesday, assured that if elected, his government will ensure that Nigeria moves forward.
He stated that his opponents lack experience, track record and integrity, adding that he has all the necessary requirements to win the 2023 presidential election.
In Tinubu’s words;
“It is our fault in this country that these past 60 years we have not made progress, but moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be done.”
“My quest to progressively drive Nigeria forward is the only reason I am running; no other person is running with me.
“Those who say they are running have no iota of honesty in them; they can’t keep to their promises; all they are interested in is to insult me and yet, they don’t have facts.
“They (his opponents) have no past; they have no experience, no track record, no integrity. My concern is the development of Nigeria, and that is what I will do as President”.
“Moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be done, and anger, division, breaking apart will not solve it; it can only be achieved by being together.
“Let us conquer hunger rather than allowing hunger to conquer us. So, let’s come together and make great wealth for the nation and our people”.
