Isuikwuato LG Boss, Chima Agbaeze Celebrates 2 Years In Office, 16 Years Marriage Anniversary
It was a moment of celebration in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia state on Sunday, December 18, as the chairman, Honourable Chima Agbaeze hosted thanksgiving service for a successful tenure in office and also 16 years marriage anniversary.
Giving words of admonition at the Thanksgiving service which held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Umuobiala in Isuikwuato Local Government Area, Right Reverend Professor Prince Christian Chukwudi Anyim, harped on the need to return thanks to God for his goodness at all time.
“It is important that from time to time you go to the house of the Lord and give thanks. That you are alive shows that God loves you” he stated.
Speaking at the service, Dr Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu, wife of the executive governor of Abia state, affirmed the need to give God thanks, stating that; “God has been faithful to all of us. That we are alive, we should give thanks; let us be faithful, hold God and put him first”.
Mrs Ikpeazu called on all to show interest in the 2023 elections and vote those that will make things better.
Speaking, Chima Agbaeze said he decided to return thanks to God who sustained him for two years in office notwithstanding the turmoil’s.
He recalled the series of kidnapping recorded at his inception in office which through the grace of God and the efforts of governor Okezie Ikpeazu has been curbed to a bearable minimum.
“I want to return thanks to God, this can only be God” Agbaeze added.
Speaking further to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, Agbaeze listed some of his achievements as eradication of insecurity to a bearable minimum, ultra modern motor park in Isuikwuato, operation zero pot holes, installation of transformers, construction of Umuobiala town hall, new chairman administrative block that is 70% complete, youth empowerment and skills acquisition, among others.
“Through the assistance of the executive governor, we’ve been able to grade rural roads in Isuikwuato” he added.
Other dignitaries present at the Thanksgiving include barrister Chris Ezem secretary to the Abia state government, HRH Eze Uwadiegwu Ogbonnaya, the chairman council of traditional rulers Isuikwuato LGA, senator Mao Ohuabunwa, Honourable Lucky Johnson, among others.
