Traditional rulers in Imo state through their state chairman His Majesty, Eze Agunwa Ohiri have declared their total support to Governor Hope Uzodinma and likewise revealed that poer comes from God.
He stated this when the chairmen of the traditional rulers from the twenty-seven local government areas of Imo State paid the governor a courtesy visit in government house.
Eze Ohiri explained that leadership comes from God and promised the governor the support of the traditional rulers in the state.
Eze Ohiri said God gives power to whoever he likes and assures the governor of the support of Imolites.
During the visit, Governor Hope Uzodinma assured Traditional Rulers in the state of his readiness to conduct fresh local government election in line with local government laws in the state.
The governor also reminded the monarchs that their role cannot be over emphasized in ensuring peace and tranquility and assured them that his policies will meet the yearnings and aspirations of Imo people.
