The Supreme court has adjourned hearing of the governorship election petition appeals from Six state to Tuesday.
The disputed elections are from Imo, Bauchi, Sokoto, Kano, Plateau and Benue States.
The seven member panel, headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, began sitting today only to rise for some minutes and later formerly adjourned.
The hearing of this last stage of the appeals is coming eight months after they assumed office in May last year .
They were brought by various aggrieved candidates in the polls in the affected states.
The governors declared elected by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the states are Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, Simon Lalong of Plateau state, and Samuel Ortom of Benue state.
