Political stakeholders and leaders of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency have purchased the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative form for the Abia State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji.
During the presentation of the form that took place today at the resident of the Speaker, the leaders appraised the activities of Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji from his leadership of the house, infrastructural development, empowerment of the youths, they concluded by saying that the Speaker has done well.
The Ikwuano/Umuahia stakeholders went further to state that they want the Speaker to continue speaking for the people by going to the federal house of representative.
While contributing, the House of Assembly member representing Umuahia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Honorable Barrister Jerry Uzosike, revealed that he is in tune with the decisions of the Ikwuano/Umuahia Stakeholders and equally urged the Speaker to yield to the demand of the leaders.
In reaction, the Speaker appreciated the leaders for their action and requested they give him time to consult with his supporters including the youths before making a statement.
He called for peace in Abia State and maintained that he will not be part of anything that will bring confuse into the state.
Stakeholders present during the presentation Include; the Executive Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government, Hon. Ugochukwu, Chief Charles Ogbonna, Chief Emma Nwabuko, Chief Emeka Inyamah, Hon. Wisdom Ogbonnaya, Alhaji Suleiman Ukandu, Comrade Lucky Akabuike, Chief Mrs Ngozi Orji, among others.
