PRESS RELEASE

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY ELDERS OF THE PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN OHUHU CLAN OF UMUAHIA NORTH L.G.A., ON THE, 2ND OF MAY 2022.

Online Media Release

The Elders of Ohuhu clan of Umuahia North L.G.A., of Abia State hereby issue this communique in full support of the call for equity, fairness, and justice in our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that will position us for a great victory in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

That it is the rightful turn of Ndi Ohuhu to occupy the Federal House of Representatives seat of the Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency. The share of representation in relevant elective positions from the Umuahia North L.G.A., is utterly unbalanced and we justly seek to prevent the perpetuation of this injustice in the upcoming dispensation.

We call on our brother clans across the Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency to support our collective quest for the entrenchment of equity and support the Ohuhu cause, for the Federal House of Representatives seat come 2023.

Finally, the Ohuhu clan will resist any attempt by anybody or group of people, to subvert justice and equity by denying Ohuhu our rights come 2023.

We assure all the stakeholders and delegates of Ikwuano-Umuahia and indeed, Abia State that we speak with one voice and will do the same in respect to the candidate accordingly.
