The Director General of Professor Gregory Ibe Campaign Council, Sir Longman Emeka Nwachukwu has described the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as a colossal failure and disaster.
Speaking during an exclusive interview on AF-TELEVESION programme tagged “Focal Point”, Nwachukwu expressed disappointment in the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, stating that it has failed in all ramification.
In his words, the former commissioner of works asked “In what area can he (Ikpeazu) beat his chest and say that he has done well?

According to him, the state governor’s promise to complete all his projects before the expiration of his tenure has been nothing but but a mirage.
“This is a young man that promised he will complete all his projects before he leaves office, especially government house, but since his assumption in office, he has not done anything about it and now he has less than 5 months”
This is a project he inherited with over 93% to completion and yet he has never added a stone to that project”
Nwachukwu who acknowledged that some roads were done in Aba by this PDP government faulted the quality of those noting citing Faulks road that damaged within 5 months of its completion.
“Yes Ikpeazu did some roads but how many of those roads are still standing. Faulks road failed after 5 months and they gave an excused that it was because people were pouring hot water on it.
He accused the government of awarding contracts in the states on political patronages and not on effectiveness and competence and assured that its governorship candidate, Prof. Ibe will right the wrongs of the PDP administration when he emerges as the governor of the state next year
