Ikpeazu Salutes Soludo On His Inauguration As Anambra Gov. | DETAILS

Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has congratulated Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his inauguration as the 6th democratically elected Anambra State governor.

In his congratulatory message, Governor Ikpeazu recalled the popular acclaim that defined the election of Professor Soludo, urging him to bring to bear his wide experience in economic management to bear in his governance of Anambra State.

He expressed delight that Governor Soludo has chosen to use the Abia made Akwete Cloth as his official apparel, thereby joining his passionate campaign since 2015 to bring to the fore, the great value in our locally made products.

He also described the Akwete Cloth as one of Igbo land’s most enduring gift to the world of textile manufacturing.

Governor Ikpeazu noted that he looks forward to working with Governor Soludo and other Governors especially through the Forum of South East Governors to formulate policies that will further secure and expand the frontiers of regional economy.

He described Abia and Anambra States as the two largest local manufacturing and trading economies in the South East with centuries of established trade collaboration.

Ikpeazu prayed the Almighty God to grant Governor Soludo the best of health and strength to face the daunting challenges of leadership.
