The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD has expressed deep grief on the death of His Royal Highness, Eze Isiah Odoemelam Uwasomba, The Obi of Ibere Community, Ikwuano Local Government Area of the State.
The Governor described the late Royal Father as a Champion of Community Development who devoted his time and resources to the pursuit of the welfare of the people of his Community.
According to the Governor, “the death of the Royal Father is a huge blow not only to the people of Ibere Community, Ikwuano Local Government but indeed the entire State, noting that the wise counsel of Late Eze would be sorely missed.
Governor Ikpeazu send his sincere condolences and those of the Government and People of Abia State to the Uwasomba family, the Ibere Community and Ikwuano Local Government Area on the passage of the Traditional Ruler.
In particular, the Governor condoles with the wife of the Late Eze and Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Arts, Tourism and Culture, Ugoeze Ifeyinwa Uwasomba and urged her to draw strength from the very exemplary life of her late husband while praying God to comfort her and the entire family.
