The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD has congratulated his counterpart from Ogun State, Chief Dapo Abiodun on the confirmation of his victory by the Court of Appeal.
The Governors, together with their Niger State Counterpart, Alhaji Abubabar Sani Bello, are part of the delegation of President Buhari to the ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit on Terrorism holding at Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.
While Summit was still on, the news of the victory of Governor Abiodun filtered in. The victory was against the the candidate of the Labour Party at the 2019 Elections, Modupe Sanyaolu.
Governor Ikpeazu told his colleague to see his victory as a call to unite his people and ensure they get more democracy dividends. He called on all politicians in the State to rally round the Governor and help him build the State.
