Executives of Idima Abam Umuahia Branch, has expressed delight on the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, on his good and quality representation.
Speaking during their courtesy visit in his office on Monday (12th July, 2021), the Chairman of the group, Hon. Ejike Unah, explained that they were in his office to express their delight in his quality representation as their Lawmaker.
Hon. Unah, used the medium to plead with the Lawmaker to consider Idima Abam people in his distribution of social amenities.
He regretted that some of the schools in their area are in a deplorable condition and call on him to assist them in fixing it.
Chief Onah also call on the Minority Whip to help in providing seats and canopies at their meeting place in Umuahia and used the medium to pray to God to grant him more wisdom in his assignment.
In their separate speech, Chief Nwojo Thompson and a Women Leader, Lady Christiana Mbah, reiterated their resolve to support the Lawmaker, in his future political aspirations.
They described him as a listening lawmaker and a likeable personality, noting that his good works and ability to unite everyone, makes him a peculiar person.
Responding, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, explained that his relationship with Idima Abam people remains cordial.
The Minority Whip hinted that due to his love for them, he appointed someone from Ohaeke as one of his Aides.
He revealed that he is gradually working in partnership with Abam people in the diaspora, to see ways basic amenities can be attracted to them and used the opportunity to remind them of the need to work together for their betterment.
The Lawmaker during the visit, highlighted some of his numerous achievements and programs within the space of two years in office, while promising to look into their demands.
Among those at the visit include Hon. Anthony Nwankwo, High Chief Abiriba Ojukwu, Chief Jones Okorie, Lady Christiana Mbah, among others.
