I Will Not Collect Salary For Four Years – Gov. Otti Vows To Develop Abia

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, has revealed that he has not collected salaries since he came into power and will not collect it for the rest of his four years term as governor.

The governor while speaking on Thursday, October 12, at the Aba Sports Club, noted that he is not interested in collecting his personal salaries as he do not need it, but is interested in ensuring that workers gets paid as at when due and Abia state is developed.

“I have my way of managing my expenditure within my income. We are not expensive; Am not even taking salary. The speaker reminded me that i have not taken salaries for four months. I will not take it for four years . and they will think I couldn’t do anything with the salary; I don’t need it” Governor Otti state.
