Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has revealed how explosives planted along rail tracks can be detected.
Thus is coming after his experience in the Abuja –Kaduna train accident at Rijana and Dutse in Kaduna State.
An explosion had on Wednesday, October 20, rocked the rail track which led to a halt in operation in that station.
Sani took to his twitter handle, to laud the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) for suspended operation till further notice. He however, noted that installation of sensors can be used to detect explosives planted by terrorists before hand.
@ShehuSani tweeted;
“The suspension of the railway services by the NRC is the safest thing to do for now. The next is to install the sensors to detect any explosive planted along the rail tracks. Flying to Kaduna is the next option while hoping that the road from the airport to the city will be secured.”
