A woman residing at Ikot Ekpene local government area of Akwa Ibom State has slaughtered her biological mother.
It was gathered that the incident took place where they both resided and pictures and videos from the scene have since circulated online.
Even though accounts of what transpired between the lady and her mother that culminated to the dastardly act still remain sketchy, the visibly unremorseful lady could be heard telling security agents to take her anywhere they please as she was not bothered.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said the lady, whose identity is still unknown, chopped her mother’s body just like pieces of meat.
The video footage captured a large crowd at the scene and pictures showed how irate youths made her carry the pieces of her mother’s body inside a basin on her head.
Another eyewitness who seemed to be a close relative said that the lady is mentally unstable, adding that a prophetess had told her that her mother was responsible for her current predicament. This alleged revelation pushed the lady to carry out the bizarre act.
After being paraded around the community, the lady was arrested by the Anti-Cultism Unit (ACU) of the Nigeria Police Force in Akwa Ibom State.
