How Ibadan Polytechnic Female Student Was Shot On Campus | READ IN FULL

A female student of Ibadan Polytechnic, Oyo state, was on Tuesday, November 2, shot by yet to be identified persons

The student (name withheld) was said to have been shot on campus. She was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan where she is reportedly responding to treatment.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the Ibadan  polytechnic Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale said;

“The Authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan (TPI) have appealed to the students of the Institution to remain calm as a female student that was shot is responding to treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.

“The unfortunate incident happened at the sewage area late in the afternoon where a gunshot hit the female student.

“The female student was immediately rushed to the University College Hospital where a first class medical attention was given to her.

“We appeal to all students and staff to remain calm and abide with all the regulations as investigations have been launched into the source of the gunshot”.
