The Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, in Anambra State, Ossy Onuko and his boys on Friday, physically ass-aulted a driver of GUO Transport services at UNIZIK junction, in Akwa, the state capital.
In a viral video, the driver who was said to have overtaken the convoy of Onuko, was beaten by followers of Onuko.
They reportedly whisked the driver away, abandoning the passengers he was conveying from Lagos to Enugu state.
Reacting to the incident, the management of GUO in a statement, condemned the brutalisation of one of their driver, who they confirmed is receiving medical attention.
The vowed to seek legal redress to ensure that such act does not occur again.
