The father of the house identified as Mr Lambart Ukachukwu, his wife and daughter, allegedly planned to carry out the abominable act in Duruegwele in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to report, the deceased Chukwuebuka on Saturday, September 7, 2021 was hit on the head with a sharp object and was left to bleed to death after which he was buried in a shallow grave close to his parents’ house.
Trouble erupted when late Chukwuebuka suddenly went missing in the community. Some youths reportedly inquired of his where about from his father who told them that he had traveled to Ghana. The daughter however confessed to the crime when the youths threatened to burn down their house.
Meanwhile the couple has been arrested by the Imo State police command after the villagers made them dance round the community with fresh palm fronds.
