What ordinarily would have been a bloodbath was averted today when cattle Rustlers invaded the farm belonging to Dr Chris Nwaogboso along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway
The Cattle Rustlers according to an eye witness Account came into the farm with dangerous weapon with which they inflicted injuries on farmers at the farms
Among the victim of the attack is a pregnant woman whose husband is a staff in the piggery department.
Dr Nwaogboso while reacting to the incidence said he is a law abiding citizen and thank God his men never retaliated otherwise it would have been another story all together rather he has reported the incidence to top government functionaries and law enforcement Agencies in the state to take action and he believed Justice would prevail.
In his words”it’s very painful that this heinous avrvis executed at a time when our dear country and state are encouraging all citizens especially the youth to venture into agriculture as alternative source of livelihood”
But This attacks is a demotivation to everyone if the perpetrators are not brought to book or made to face the consequences of this act .
Dr Nwaogboso expressed his displeasure and asked all well meaning Abians and Nigerians in general to condenm it and fish out the perpetrators since anyone could be the next victim if they are not arrested
