Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Chief Liaison Officer of the Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, is set to be honoured today, Thursday, December 18, 2025, as the Overall RAPID Personality of the Year 2025, a prestigious award reserved for individuals whose leadership impact cuts across governance, community development, and public influence.
The ceremony, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Corporate Headquarters of Rapid 96.5 FM, Umuahia, is expected to draw stakeholders from politics, media, youth groups, and civil society, all gathered to celebrate a figure widely regarded as a symbol of effective leadership and purposeful public service.
Hon. Chinasa’s selection for the coveted RAPID Personality of the Year honour is rooted in what organisers described as his exceptional leadership acumen, meritorious service, and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and community growth. As Chief Liaison Officer, he has been credited with strengthening Abia State’s engagement at the federal level while projecting the state’s interests with professionalism, integrity, and results-driven diplomacy.
Beyond the headline award, Hon. Chinasa is also expected to receive the Excellent Leadership and Public Service Award, further cementing his status as a public official whose influence extends beyond title to tangible impact. Observers note that his stewardship of the Abia State Liaison Office has not only enhanced institutional efficiency but also positioned him as a bridge between government, youth constituencies, and development partners.
Supporters describe him as a leader who combines accessibility with authority, vision with execution, and inclusiveness with accountability—qualities that have earned him admiration across political and social divides in Abia State.
In a statement released ahead of the ceremony, Comrade Chika Onuoha, speaking on behalf of the Bende Youths Congress (BYC), congratulated Hon. Chinasa, describing the honour as well-deserved and timely.
According to him, the recognition is not just a celebration of personal achievement but a reflection of the growing demand for leaders who prioritise good governance, youth development, and sustainable community advancement.
As anticipation builds, today’s ceremony is expected to serve not only as a celebration of Hon. Chinasa’s achievements but also as a broader affirmation of leadership defined by service, impact, and integrity.
