Gunmen Invade Nnamdi Kanu‘s Lawyer’s Village, Set Properties Ablaze | WATCH VIDEO
Gunmen on Friday invaded Afor Iro in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, setting ablaze vehicles, shops and goods.
The invaded community happens to be the village of Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Sharing a clip from the attack on his social media handle, Ejimakor wrote;
“Today, 9th December 2022, several armed men invaded my hometown, attacked my relatives, vandalized their properties & set fire to our main market, five minutes away from my house. It’s a day that will forever live in infamy. I’m very upset; my people are very upset.”
The attack is said to have been perpetrated by some persons trying to enforce the sit-at-home order given by Simon Ekpa, a self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu.
