Governor Alex Otti Dissolves LGA Transition Committees, Education Secretaries
The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has dissolved the 17 Local Government Areas Transition Committees, all chairmen and their deputies.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the Governor of Abia State.
The affected persons are to hand over to the Heads of Service of their respective Local Governments with immediate effect.
Similarly, the governor approved the removal of the Education Secretaries of the 17 Local Governments.
“Each affected Education Secretary is to hand over to the most Senior Director immediately” the statement read in part.

GOVERNOR OTTI APPROVES DISSOLUTION OF LGA TRANSITION COMMITTEES, REMOVAL OF LGA EDUCATION SECRETARIES.
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has approved the dissolution of the 17 Local Government Transition Committees and removal of all Chairmen and their Deputies.
The removed Chairmen are to hand over to the Heads of Service of their respective Local Governments.
In a similar development, the governor has approved the removal of the Education Secretaries of the 17 Local Governments.
Each affected Education Secretary is to hand over to the most Senior Director.
These directives take immediate effect, therefore, the affected persons should comply and ensure seamless transfer of power in the LGAs.
